| Is it Me, Or Does CN, Disney, and Nick SUCK These Days? I'm almost 17 and I can remember being 10 and there was ALWAYS something to watch on all three channels. It seems that nowadays these channels have lost there spark. Cartoon Network had the best cartoons, like, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, and a lot of others. Not to mention they brought Anime to America, including, DBZ, Sailor Moon, Outlaw Star, Rounin Kenshi (sp?), Tenchi Muyo, and Yu Yu Hawkusho. What do they have now. Retarded Live-Action shows with dumb guys and Ridiculously Horrible Canadian Cartoons. And Then they take off Toonami. The TV Block that made them a big shot network. Worst decision made in the history of horrible decisions. At least in my book. Nick has also fell flat the past years. They rarely show cartoons and pretty much try to take whatever idea Disney has already thrown in the trash. All Nick shows is iCarly, Big Time Rush, SpongeBob, and Victorious. Nick had amazing game shows. There cartoons were actually pretty creative and though out too: Hey Arnold, Rugrats, The Wild ThornBerrys, CatDog, the Ren and Stimpy Show, Invader Zim, etc. How do you go from those cartoons to cartoons like Fan Boy and Chum Chum. I have no idea. Disney is THE WORST OF THEM ALL. I think Walt Disney would be rolling in his grave right about now. When most people think Of Disney these days the first thing that comes to mind is Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, which honestly shouldn't happen. What ever happened to Mickey and Friends. I have no idea. Disney would rather endorse there "disney princesses" than put on decent shows anymore. All they show is Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Phineas and Ferb. Thats It! Nothing Else. I enjoyed disney when Hilary Duff and Raven Symone were there at least they had some talent and weren't posting nude pics or bad-mouthing bands (I'm talking to you Miley). And the most annoying thing of all is that all these new "princesses" are all supposably triple threats. As if I'm supposed to beileve that everyone on Disney has the singing ability to sell millions of records and the acting expertise to star in Hollywood movies. I now I'm getting older and 16 year olds shouldn't be watching cartoons anyways but to be honest I haven't really watched these channels religiously in the last 4-5 years, because there that bad. I feel sorry for this generation and I'm greatful that I came from a generation when producers of Kids Channels and Shows actually cared about what they created instead of just being money hungry. Sorry For Ranting So Much. What do you guys think. What are Your Opinions and What did you used to love about CN, Disney, and Nick. |
